Atlantic Revolutions, Global Echoes 1750-1914
- The French Revolution - (1789-1815) The french were enlightened after the Atlantic Revolution.
- Put in order the Estates which included: the clergy, the nobility, and the commoners.
- Haitian Revolution - (1791-1804) Haiti, 8,000 plantations, 40% of the worlds sugar and half of its coffee.
- Revolt starting at 1791 rumors went around that the french king was getting rid of slavery, slaves burned 1,000 plantations, and killed hundreds of whites and mixed race people.
- Spanish American Revolutions - (1808-1825) Took place in Spanish and Portuguese. People of color revolted against elites. Not successful, this made them depend on other people, underdeveloped.
- Feminist Begins - With the Enlightenment women's views on society and personal growth started to develop.
